Impressionist Lance Fox returns to the BCT on Saturday, October 24th, 2009 at 8 pm. Lance Fox “LIVE and in PERSONS,” will feature the comedian, singer, and impressionist as a virtual one-man crowd! Yes, that’s right, an entire crowd of celebrities will be there, all wrapped-up in one. This one-man show is an entertaining mix of Las Vegas showmanship, comedy, and singing. Fox’s range of voices, both speaking and singing is off the charts! Known as the “Man of 200 Voices,” Fox captures the smallest nuances of characters for spot-on impressions. At the same time, he can switch from voice to voice with rapid-fire delivery. Amusingly, he puts many of his characters in real life situations, and often uses clever observational humor to involve them in.

Lance Fox is one of the most versatile impressionists today. With his vast repertoire of voices, you never know whom he will turn into next. From old time celebrities like Jimmy Stewart, Katharine Hepburn, and John Wayne, to contemporary personalities like Billy Bob Thorton, Samuel L. Jackson, Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Sandler, Morgan Freeman, Alec Baldwin, Rush Limbaugh, Ray Ramono, and Al Pacino. And, of course, ALL the presidents, including Barack Obama. His Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, Tom Browkaw, and Rodney Dangerfield are unparalleled, but there are so many others. Plus, you won’t believe his impeccable Bob Knight impression! Fox’s singing impressions make-up about half of the show, and are equally impressive. From the 1950’s to today, he captures several artists from each area, respectively. You might hear Elvis, Roy Orbison, The Rat Pack, The Bee Gees, Rod Stewart, James Taylor, Willie Nelson, Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, Michael Jackson, Billy Idol, David Bowie, Cher, John Mellencamp, U2, and James Blunt, to name a few. And, Kermit The Frog and Miss Piggy are more than likely to make the line-up somewhere, as well.

Fox has performed for many years on the comedy club circuit sharing the stage with other comedians like Tim Allen and Brad Garrett. Fox also opened for George Carlin at the Indiana University Auditorium and for Dionne Warwick at Clowes Hall at Butler University. Over the years, Fox has worked many clubs in the Midwest and California, including the Indianapolis Comedy Connection, Crackers, Comedy Caravan, The Ice House, L.A. Cabaret, Carlos N’ Charlies’ Hollywood, and The Comedy Store. Lance has also been a guest on the WFBQ 95 Bob & Tom radio show and their WXIN channel 59 Movie several times, not to mention several guest appearances on the WISH channel 8 news.
