Join the Buskirk-Chumley Theater for a special afternoon of family-friendly fun with the holiday film It's A Wonderful Life (1946). The best way to enjoy a classic motion picture is in a historic theater - with a bag of popcorn, of course!

Named one of the "100 Best American Films Ever Made" by the American Film Institute, It's A Wonderful Life stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a caring and compassionate businessman struggling to find purpose and satisfaction in his life. An angel comes into his life to bring him perspective and show him how meaningful his presence can be.

Beloved by countless audiences for over sixty years, It's A Wonderful Life opened in December on 1946. It received a Golden Globe for "Best Director" (Frank Capra), an Academy Award for "Best Technical Achievement" (Russell Shearman and RKO Radio Studio Special Effects Dept.) as well as many nominations including "Best Motion Picture" and "Best Actor". It continues to charm audiences of all ages and has become a holiday tradition for many families.
